Did you know Carter is soon to become famous?!
Well, that might be an exaggeration. But he was involved in the making of a new reality TV show called the Baby Borrowers which is premiering Wednesday, June 25th on NBC at 8pm.
It was pretty funny...last year Carter got a phone call from a guy claiming to be a Hollywood producer, the same one who produced the Apprentice, who wanted to meet with him. I think Carter expected a prank, but agreed to meet him anyway. The man explained his project - taking several teenage couples who think they are ready to get married and setting them up in a home, then introducing them to real adult life, parenthood, the working world, etc. He wanted to know if Carter would "hire" one of the young men to work at the vet clinic. It sounded like fun, so Carter said, "What the heck." And he did it. For three weeks they had a whole camera crew following them around while they worked. Carter's favorite part was when he made the poor kid pick maggots out of a rabbit's wounded rear end. (The camera guys were all over that. ) He has no idea how much airtime the clinic will receive, but anyway, tune in with us to find out. And you can see more about the show at
